Hello loves!
In my quest to lose this poundage I've acquired since deciding food and wine were my new BFF's, I returned this evening to one of my favorite classes --- Step class. Yeah. So...after sitting down for like the tenth time I actually considered telling the instructor when she asked if I was ok ---- and they always ask if you're ok ---- I considered telling her that I'd just returned to working out after I'd given birth 3 weeks ago! But then I would have to tell people at the gym that the "baby" is fine when there really is no baby and I'd have to concoct a story line about the sex, the name, the birth story etc..... Then I imagined that other mothers would want to share post pregnancy workout war stories. So I decided that wasn't the best course of action. Then my mind wandered to the amazing shrimp ceviche and Margaritas at Javiers!!! THAT is the type of stuff that crosses my mind when working out.
So, when the class ended and the instructor asked me if I was ok....I opted for the truth and gave some excuse about not having a big lunch and being dizzy, blah, blah, blah.... and retreated for the locker room. I've got to get better at this! Working out I mean!
PS....Work is going great!!! I think I can cross succeeding at work projects off the list. I think....
